Pours deep orange clear with a pillowy off white head that lasts and lasts. Nose is a heady blend of breads, light caramel like malts, and light toffee with citrus hops, spicy grapefruit rinds, resins, light pines, and some sweeter frutis-some of which is coming from the hops and some of which is coming from the sweet caramel malts and hop combination. Flavor sweet malts with a hefty mix of resinous hops. Finishes with a medium body with medium full bitterness on the finish. Pretty tasty beer. No doubt lots of cascades in this one. I hate to say this but it reminds me of that ballast point IPA.... what was that one called? Was it called Big Eye or something? who knows, cheers. Thanks frostyone for dragging this can through the bitter ice, snow drifts, cheese curds, amish buggies, the accents, Wisconsin, and the times of old to present me with this tall boy of hoppyiness. Cheers, bro

A lightly hazed golden amber ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, classic biscuit malt with floral hops, light citrus, very classic. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, citrusy goodness. On tap at Bad Apple, Chicago.

From the can at the Redrock Grill in Wichita, KS. Poured a honey mahogany color with an off-white head. Big citrusy pine floral aroma. Taste is complex, with citrus and pine, an interesting sweetness, perfectly balanced and never overpowered by the 110 IBUs. This is one fine IPA, and one I would gladly order again. In fact, I had a second one tonight.

Hazy, copper-gold pour with a frothy, white head. It has pleasant citrus hop aroma. The light body has a slightly crisp texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a balanced, mildly dry finish.

Pours copper / orange with a large off-white head. The aroma has tropical fruit, pine, earth, toasty malt, caramel, mild sweetness and a great balance to everything. It has a medium clean body that’s a touch rough and has fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with pine, grapefruit, tropical fruit, caramel, spice and hints of cotton candy. The finish is resiny, grassy, piny and spicy. Quite dry. Great IPA.

Pint at ITAP Soulard. This beer was clear and coppery. Just a little off white foam. Not a really big aroma. Some fairly complex fruit. This beer begins with malts leading. They are caramel but more than that and are quite nice. Then those complex fruits enter and are tropical. Just a little grapefruit is next. The finish was then more dry with a different hop. It was a lot of fun taking this through a few temperature changes. A very well brewed beer. One that is tasty enough for everybody but also challenging for those who like to find different flavors.

This can was sent to me courtesy of Doran in Missouri in a trade. It poured an orange color with a beige head and excellent lacing. Very attractive. Good start. The nose is citrus and pine with passion fruit. Resin mouthfeel and a medium to full body. The flavor screams hops which ride on a nice caramel malt backbone. The finish is dry and bitter. This is is right up there with the better west coast IPAs. Very enjoyable.
