Pours a nice murky amber with a healthy dose of off white head that laces wonderfully. Loads of piney resinous hop presence, mixed with some mango/kiwi (?). The hops are supported by a caramely sweet bread. The taste is practically a mirror of the nose. The bitterness, though, is a bit more aggressive than I would have guessed plus a touch of burnt toast and heavy grain. This is usually the beer that I recommend to people that are looking for a Furious type experience - this analysis has me second guessing myself though. Regardless, this stuff is tasty.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium cloudy head which leaves a lot of sticky lacing. Aroma is earthy hops, caramel and biscuit malts, and light citrus. Taste is very balanced, with good resinous hops and caramel malts. Solid.

Cant believe that i havent rated this. Fuckin Badass Beer. About as much beer you can have in a beer. so much stuff in this beer. not a diverse amount of stuff, but tons of the most important stuff. malt and hops. try this beer whenever you can, it is a real treat it you like big beer. it’s definitely a double esb in every way. this would be soooo good barrel aged. they have to know. that. it’s quite obvious that this is just a low alcohol barley wine really. nutty roast with pine hops. this beer is so american. i love it

Draft at JL Beers. Pours clear copper, thick off-white head, passable lacing. Nose is spicy citrus hops, caramelized cardboard, earth/ mineral, and soap. Flavours of spicy lemon, ultra aggressive grassy hops, tea, and some vegetal notes. One more to add to the ’Bitters Fucking Suck’ pile.

This one not only surprised me, but it had a lot going on. A mild chocolate, candy, grassy and raisin taste. Some other things were mixed in the blend. (Possibly pepper)
Really went down good.

16oz can thanks to motortoddhead. Deep amber/copper with creamy tan head, slightly hazy. Big citrus hopping with some caramel malt tucked in. Brief glimpse of the toasted/caramel malt that gives way to solid citrus bitterness that ramps up toward the finish. Dry finish from the hops. Tons of residual citrus that makes you think you’ve been eating lemon candy. Only complaint is that the mouthfeel was a bit creamy, which detracted a bit from the refreshing aspects of this beer.

Can pours amber with tan head. Aromas are malt, and pine. Taste is more IPA than ESB, but tasty. Malty like an ESB, but aggressively hopped as an IPA. Notes of fruity malt and piney hops. Overall a decent brew.

This one has some issues that come out in the end. Specifically a distinct butterscotch flavor. Other than that, its ok.

Firm, medium statured tan head with good retention and alot of coating lace, sticky.Hazy, amber/copper color. Nose is juicey, piney and a little pissy, slight malt notes, bit O resin. Med/full body, juicey, light resin, soft carbonation, lil chewy. Lightly sweet malts, caramel, lil grain, toast backed by a nice juicey hop charge. Bit of pine, citrus, gtrapefruity and earthyness, leafy too, lil cat pee??. nice strong finish, lasting, good bite and hop flavors. Well done! Think i,d drag it out of the Bitter class and just IPA it. Props to MOTORTODDHEAD for the can! Sweet bro!
