Can. Poured a dark brown-black. Aroma is no surprise-just like Buffalo Sweat with vanilla notes. Was expecting more vanilla in the taste but very subdued. Vanilla more pronounced as it warmed. Same creamy mouthfeel as the regular version with a slightly sweet finish. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty close to its name. Not much vanilla taste only a short time on the nose. Don’t kill yourself looking for it.

Nice and smooth. Great balance of the oatmeal stout and the vanilla. They compliment each other well.

Sample pour at Beinnys. Nice drinkable sweet stout, the vanilla is highly apparent lending a creaminess.

Pint can poured to a shaker at Lunar Brewing Co., with a black/brown color that showed a bit of ruby highlighting at the base, frothy persistence to the billowy, tan head foam, and waves & spots of clingy lacing. The nose was roastiness, expressive Ghiradelli-like, gourmet chocolate, with vanilla bean, not extract, blended in. The taste had a creamy, milk & chocolate nature to it, less roastiness, light to medium body, with low bitterness, and soft carbonation. Would have preferred some better texture, which came off a bit thin, but still liked this stout’s flavorful drinkability.
