I like the regular one but the vanilla bean stout is not for me. It tastes like metal top me. Not my favorite but not horrible.

This winter seasonal is in high demand here in the Midwest. One sip and it’s easy to understand why. The vanilla isn’t a half-baked (half-brewed?) concept. It’s been given time to mature and release its full flavor and aroma. It makes for a damn good addition to what was already a fantastic beer. Vanilla Bean Buffalo Sweat is a winter treat. I could have can after can of this spicy, chocolatey goodness.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice brown with hints of mahogany around the edges. Nice two finger off white head. Aroma is roast and espresso. Some sweetness on the nose as well. Slight vanilla. On the palate, its more of the nose with some bitter chocolate playing in. The finish has a bit more of the vanilla sweetness to it, but not overpowering. Body is thin. Nice, sessionable.
