Pour is a black with a average tan head. Aroma is cocoa with some sweet vanilla and some sugar. Flavor is chocolate milk sweetness with a decent vanilla and some chocolate cake chewiness. The base beer really doesn’t do anything, this is all about the additions of vanilla and cocoa bean. still this is very tasty and another good from Tallgrass.

A - pours opaque black/brown with very little tan head in a ring. S - rotten bananas, vanilla flavoring, malted milkball, vegetal notes an Hershey's syrup. M - light and crisp. Watery body with a lightly chalky dry end. T - vegetal and sweet. Overripe bananas, Carob chips, malted milk balls, chalky chocolate. Some coffee. O - very light and drinkable. Like a sweetened vanilla iced coffee. 3.4

Pours deep brown with a large pillowy head. The aroma has cocoa, vanilla, smooth roast, ice cream malt and a hint of hops hiding in the background. Medium / thin body with some nice semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with a bit more of a roasty sharp taste than the aroma, some dark chocolate and faint vanilla. It is there, but not overpowering. There are some spicy / earthy hops complimenting. The finish is fairly dry and chocolaty with some lingering richness and vanilla. This is a really nice one from Tallgrass. Good to have a lower alcohol beer using vanilla - seems like that’s used a lot more in the bigger beers.

An overall good stout. The vanilla stood out but not too much. Malty and the right amount of carbonation.

Vanilla and toasted hazelnut on the nose. Dark and semi-translucent brown with a creamy khaki head. Very smooth vanilla coffee taste, with some oatmeal. Creamy mouth feel with a soft finish. Tasty beverage.

Lots of vanilla, way too much vanilla, but im not a vanilla fan. Kinda tastes like one of those starbucks vanilla fraps in a bottle.

Pours with ample head in dark caramel. Beer is coffee black and nearly opaque in tulip glass. I absolutely live its native cousin Buffalo Sweat, but I think this derivative leaves something to be desired on the promised vanilla bean. Still, the brew is robust and delicious and makes a great pairing for a brownie based dessert and/or vanilla ice cream ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a rich dark brown/black. Has the sweet aroma of vanilla with a spackeling of coffee. The flavor is not overwhelming of vanilla, but just a bit of flavoring. Nice brew!
