16 oz can into a pub glass. Big head on this one, dark brown pour, but a little light shows in the bottom of the glass. I could smell the vanilla before I even picked it up. Aroma is vanilla, roasted malt, coffee, and some tobacco. Head isnít really foamy, more fizzy, and dissipates fairly quickly. Body is pretty light, less carbonated than I would have guessed from the head, really smooth, little sweetness. Muted coffee and dark chocolate. Vanilla isnít overpowering at all, really, and the coffee/vanilla thing is fairly balanced. Maybe I got a bad can, but my first impression was that it tasted kinda flat and very light bodied. I was excited to try this, but Iím kinda disappointed. That being said, itís only 5% abv, and its pretty drinkable so it might be a fun session beer.

Farewell Jack bottleshare at Craft Clerkenwell. Cheers to Manny. Almost clear but deep amber beer, thin cream colour head. A little pecan nuts on the nose! Palate is airy, soft and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Trace of pecan follows the snout. Mellow vanilla and mild bourbon biscuit. Touch of chocolate. Light semi dry finish. Interesting but never quite reaches full lift off.

Bottle @ The Clerkenwell Share. Thanks to Manny! Deep brown pour with a modest white head. Nose reminds of of frosted sugar shredded wheat. Unmistakable shredded wheat, some brown sugar. Vanilla cream. Taste is quite sweet. Restrained by some toasted grain. Nice balance. Creamy, easy going on the palate. Good for what it is.

Can thanks to Manny G. It pours cloudy deep brown with a small tan head. The nose is sweet vanilla right in your face, coconut, pretty creamy, milky way, nuts and some maple syrup. The taste is smooth, toasty, earthy roast, wood, roasted nuts, maple syrup and shredded wheat. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth and no real sign of the 5% alcohol. Not much depth, but very drinkable anyhow.

Poured the 16oz can into an English pint glass -- this is super creamy, sweet, and nothing but vanilla goodness. Much win.

Liked it, surprisingly so. Not usually a fan of "flavored" beers. This tasted like a good combination of beer and vanilla. Drove the pint cans. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour on tap at Happy Gnome, dark brownish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of nice cocoa, roast and vanilla bean into some coffee, earthy, grassy notes with a hint of fruit. Taste was a mix of cocoa, roast, coffee into nice vanilla, caramel into a bit of grassy notes, finishing fairly sweet, slightly roasted.
