Sampled at Rapids Liquor tasting. Side by side with non-vanilla, this version is just slightly better. Palate still thin.

Pint can to tulip, black with kaki head, some lace. Vanilla, milk chocolate and light roast aroma. Same in taste kinda what I expected, I wasn’t big on the regular stout but this is a little better than that. Has a bit of wateriness and cola to it but its decent. Im as enthused about it as all the time Ive hestitated to buy it. Finishes kinda flat and undesirable.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2014 Drank the first one out of the can, which was a mistake. The metallic taste overpowered the deliciousness of the vanilla, chocolate, and coffee flavors. Pour this one into a glass and enjoy.

16 oz can. Dark brownish black pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of faint vanilla and chocolate with some bitter coffee present. Fairly thin body for a stout, which increases its drinkability.

Via trade with Jow. The aroma is vanilla, coffee beans, chocolare, roast. The appearance is deep black, off-white head. The flavor is vanilla, coffee, cream, roast. Medium in body, slightly thin. The finish is a bit weak, roast, vanilla bean. Not bad at all, could use a little more body.

(Thanks Peter "russellcrow") Can. A- Coffee, vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. T- Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, soft carbonation, smooth robust finish. O- A great sweet stout, that one ups the regular Buffalo Sweat. The addition of the vanilla beans is subtle yet noticeable and that makes all the difference. Very smooth and an easy drinking stout.
