2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
States on the bottle that this beer is better after ageing for at least 5 months, and can be kept for over 5 years. Being relatively lightly hoped and having a fairly low ABV I find this quite surprising. I personally can’t imagine how it would improve the beer. Other than that I agree on the whole with other comments, over carbonated for style, metallic etc.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle. Pours nice orange, sightly hazy, visible carbonisation. Head is nice when freshly poured, dissipates fast. Aroma is quite fruity but not sweet. Thee is a small sour undertone, some herbal hops. Tropical fruits also. taste is a bit sour for some reason - making me think that maybe there is something wrong with the beer I am having. Otherwise there is some honey mixed with herbal hop flavours. Body is not too strong, feels actually quite nice as it is. Overall, a good ale, will need to try it again though to understand if this sourness should be there or not.

Can shared by fajry, many thanks! Overall very tasty. Aroma is fresh pealed mandarines, very sweet. Marmalade jam too. Taste is fruity, good carbonation, some malt backbone, nice medium bitter finish. I like it a lot! Reminds me of some english bitter ales.

Bottle. Aroma Caprio multivitamine juice. Hoppy, sweet fruits. Hazy brownish colour. Taste is balanced. Light bitterness, light caramel malt, light fruity flavour. Overly carbonated, foamy in the mouth. Otherwise OK beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Murky brown colour, minimal head. Aroma has malts and a little bit of caramel to it. Taste has a little bit of bitterness, very little aftertaste. Smooth on the palate, light carbonation. It’s on ok ale, very drinkable but a bit watery.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It’s a non committal, though highly drinkable pale. Balanced with toffee biscuit malt and soft bitterness. A decent finish. Very much the kind of pale you would expect a sake brewer to make.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ishikawa’s Bottle Conditioned Ale pours a surprisingly nice cloudy honey brown color with a creamy head. It smells slightly citrusy, but not overly sweet like some of the other Japanese microbrews. The taste is outstanding, rich and flavorful with hints of honey and a bit of a hoppy kick. As the beer gets warm (if it lasts that long), other flavors emerge, and the hint of bitterness fades to be replaced by more roasted grain flavors. The ABV is a pretty standard 5.5 percent.
