3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Creamy oily beige head on top of a glowing coppery orange body. Creamy, bready, and piney nose is amazingly balanced. Toasted biscuits and citrus rind. Firm mouthfeel with a little tingle, very herbal and vegital hops with a firm carmel backbone. Hides 8.2% very well. Very well balanced, hard to believe its a double IPA. Finishes bready and softly bitter.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
8%ABV. Imperial IPA
Poured out amber. 10°SRM.
Nose has aromas of pineapple, tangerine, pine, and citrus peel.
Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate has sweet malt with wheat toast, and honeyed graham crackers. Hops are citrus peel, pine and hyssop. Malt body is a little more aggressive than I like it.
Finish is medium. Hyssop
Overall a very very good brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden and hazy, medium head. Good, hoppy brew - some mid 00s hop character, big of alcohol late and a light pale malt character to hold it together, as the hops get chewy towards the finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from kansaibeerlvrs-thanks, Phillip! Deep orange brown. Nose is caramel malts, some orange citrus and pine hops. Taste is fairly malty with bitter finish. Slightly unclean finish. Flavor is fairly malty with standard American hop profile. Suprised by the ABV on this. Drinks a lot more like a pale ale to me. Alright.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle from Midori, Nagano. Pours slightly hazy amber with a modest pale off-head. Hoppy aroma with pine, caramel, tropical fruits and hints of citrus. Medium sweet, but well balanced, solid bitterness and medium flavour intensity. Quite fresh and delicious. Reminds me of why DIPA was my favourite style some time ago.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured into a shaker showing sparse white foam, neon yellow and very light filtration. Quite a bit of sediments.
The nose shows a malt forwardness on the first impression but quickly reveals moderately intense notes of cannabis and dry pine.
The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. Good clean forward flavors of pine and very slight pineapples notes. A very sharp and big bitterness comes on at the end. Malts appear on the linger as the IPA bitterness fades away. The bitterness is slightly too intense but overall a sessionable beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden color. Frothy white head. Stone fruit with big heavy malt backbone with a fair amount of headiness. The mouth is medium bodied with lower carbonation. Very well balanced but definitely a bit more on the malty side. Big bitter finish. Very beautiful.
