My Bottom Line:
Well-developed cereals accompany citrus and white pepper into a potent finish where herbal bitterness is balanced out by tropical fruitiness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam laces atop the shiny yellow golden.
-The Saison yeast esters and lingering hoppiness are harmonious.
-Mouthfeel structure and flavor profile are both intelligently conceived.
-As good as this is, I think I still prefer their Saison One in its many incarnations.

Bottle at Shinshu Osake Mura (Nagano Sake Village). Cloudy amber - white head. Banana aroma. Spicy. Peppery. Fruity. Some malty fruity fatness. Light flowery. Ok.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2013 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Fruity, peach flavour.

On tap at Molto. Pale bright yellow with thin white head. Aromas of citrus, sour lemon, subtle hops. Much fuller and more flavoursome than it first appears. Hits the back of the throat with zesty fruit, but with a nice hoppy kick to finish. Fantastic balance of crisp and lively, refreshing and tasty. A winner.

Flavor: Medium bodied malt, banana, yeast, spice. Comment: Rated this draft version a 36.

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Hazy pale gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Airy. Nice tinned peaches and mandarins. Smooth pale malt underneath. Semi dry finish.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours foggy yellow-gold with a strong, white foam head. Great nose, all fresh poo, grass, grapefruit. Medium sweet flavor with notes of peach, grapefruit, mandarin orange, light grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with grassy hops, dry citrus. Good one.

Unclear matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, wheat, moderate hoppy, lemon, citrus, pineapple, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sweet fruity, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig 2012. Yellow pour with a white head. Citrus and wheat aroma. Apricot and citrus flavour. Not bad.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Golden color with a tiny white head. The nose is heavy peach and mandarin orange, some banana and yeast. The taste is light berry, orchard fruit, lemon rind and peach. Light, easy to drink. Solid.
