COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A trio perfectly blended hops packed (literally!) into the brew give this intensely flavorful beer incredibly bold aromas and moderately high bitterness. Balanced with caramel malt sweetness India Style Pale ales are copper in color and traditionally fortified with higher alcohol and lots of hops to preserve the beer for its long travels. Wonderfully big and bold hoppy flavors are a perfect pairing with spicy foods or for those looking for a beer to reward them with the complexity of flavors so relished by "hop head" beer lovers.

Tap at Calgary Beer Festival. Pours hazy amber with a medium, creamy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is spicy, minty, and earthy hops, caramel malt, peach and pear fruity esters. Flavor is moderate to heavy hops and bitterness, fruity esters, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Deep amber, thin head sticks around. Distinctive citrus hop aroma. Bitter hops and grapefruit with a pleasent finish. Doesnt linger too long and quite refreshing.

Great burnt orange colour topped with a quickly fading white cap. Didnt give a lot of aroma off considering the style. The hops seemed quite muted in the flavour as well. The bitterness was there and kept a fine balance between the malts, but distinguishing hop flavours were hard to pick out.

Strangely my local pub had this on. Nice grapefruity aroma with a but of pine. A bit light in flavour, some caramel mal6t, decent grassy hop bite bite faint. A decent overall beer.

Keg at National Beer Hall, Calgary. It pours hazy amber, with a small white head. The nose is orange, sweet tangerine, marmalade, passion fruit and faint hint of urine. The taste is orange, tangy marmalade, apricot, peach, sherbet, some caramel and pine, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good flavour and balance. Definitely an above average IPA.
