A trio perfectly blended hops packed (literally!) into the brew give this intensely flavorful beer incredibly bold aromas and moderately high bitterness. Balanced with caramel malt sweetness India Style Pale ales are copper in color and traditionally fortified with higher alcohol and lots of hops to preserve the beer for its long travels. Wonderfully big and bold hoppy flavors are a perfect pairing with spicy foods or for those looking for a beer to reward them with the complexity of flavors so relished by "hop head" beer lovers.

Rating #896 - January 9, 2014 - First trip to Craft Beer Market in Edmonton. Served in a cool little IPA goblet. Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, super pink grapefruit, tangerine, Taste is more of the same, dry hops and cakey malts dominating the flavour, with a dose of pink grapefruit sweetness. Magnficent.

Pours a cloudy amber, with whitish tan head. Rich aroma of hops. Taste is a complex mix of hops, with a bit of an alcohol kick. Smooth, rich, and well-blended. Thumbs up.

Great American IPA. Pours very cloudy amber orange, nice frothy head, great lacing. Smells fresh with caramel sweetness, mango a bit of pine. Taste is sweet forward, malts and caramels. Transition into a citrus hop bitter finish. Nice balance. Sweeter than a lot of IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Calgary Beer Festival. Pours hazy amber with a medium, creamy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is spicy, minty, and earthy hops, caramel malt, peach and pear fruity esters. Flavor is moderate to heavy hops and bitterness, fruity esters, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Deep amber, thin head sticks around. Distinctive citrus hop aroma. Bitter hops and grapefruit with a pleasent finish. Doesnt linger too long and quite refreshing.

Great burnt orange colour topped with a quickly fading white cap. Didnt give a lot of aroma off considering the style. The hops seemed quite muted in the flavour as well. The bitterness was there and kept a fine balance between the malts, but distinguishing hop flavours were hard to pick out.
