Amber with thin almost non-existent head. Nutty with a hint of toasted malt. Well balanced and easy drinking. Flavors matched the aromas. Light and smooth.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton (called Montana Logger, which I assume is the same as this one) pours a pale straw color with a small white head that leaves only a few specks of lacing behind. Aroma is grass and grains. Taste is a light malty sweetness beneath a light grassy and citrus hop bitterness. A decent lager, but nothing special.

Draft from the ambulance in Calgary. Clear amber color, frothy white head. Aroma of biscuit and light citrus. Taste is bitter straw Not bad.

Tap at Calgary Beer Fest. Pours clear gold with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is caramel and honey malt, clean with spicy hops. Flavor is sweet malt, clean fermentation, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Had on tap at Beer Revolution in Calgary. Pale golden in the body with a figner of yellowish head. The nose is grainy and lightly sweet with a hint of lemon. Crisp and clean taste with no bitterness at all. A nice solid, well balanced lager.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pale clear golden, average white head. Aroma is nice, clean grains and white grapes. Clean crisp grainy palate with light fruit accepts and a peppery finish. Elegant and very tasty for a lighter lager.
