On tap @ the brewpub. Murky lemony yellow, short-lived white head that reduces to a ring. Aroma is fresh apricot fruit, a little sweaty. Genuine juicy apricot fruit bursts on the palate, nice underlying malt structure, mildly bitter dry finish. A fantastic fruit beer.

Nice apricot nose, a little perfumey, light bread crackery malts. Pours golden, thin head, nice big bubbles. Flavors of apricot, fresh and somewhat extracty. A little crackery malt. More apricot in the finish. Easy to drink.

Draft at Tamarack Missoula. Sampled from a pint glass. Pours clody cream/flour yellow. Moderate white head, nice lacing. Nose is cream, violets, sweet lemon. Flavours of apricots and OH DEAR SWEET CHRIST THE DIACETYL!!!!! I actually ordered another sampler glass to be sure, but WOW is this buttery! To quote VerticalBaconStrips: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! I really quite liked the nose, but there is WAY too much diacetyl/butter in the mouth to get through this one. Returned to the server as bad (the didn’t make me pay for it, to their credit), and had another Rye Sally, which is excellent. Less of this shit, more Rye Sally and Mild. Those beers ROCK!

Draft 6 oz’er at the Missoula brewpub. There’s a nice fruity aroma right up front here. The beer is opaque, but yellow. This is good for the style ... Awesome pick for a hot sunny day, and unusual for me, my favorite at this brewpub. (#4662, 7/5/2012)

Poured up on tap at the Tamarack brewpub with hazy deep gold body and white looking foam head. The aroma has apricot fruit and some skin like tannin tartness as well as the smell of faint sugar maltiness. The taste is like drinking apricot juice with a real tasting apricot fruitiness as well as sort of fruit skin tannin tartness and a touch of malt sweetness. This is a nice tasting fruit beer.

Pours hazed gold with a thin white head. Aroma is not too sweet or insane with the apricot. Taste is nice, mild doughy apricot, honey, not overly perfumey or sweet. Not a bad fruit beer at all.
