Pours a clear brown with a thin off white head that almost totally disappears. Aroma is rich maltiness, caramel, chocolate, grainy, nutty and faint hop presence maybe citrus. Flavour is caramel, nutty, chocolate, mild bitterness, citrus and over all a rich malty beer.

Quite dark for an amber, with the malty caramel chocolate notes that sometimes implies. Maybe a tad too sweet but still pretty tasty.

Tap at Beer Rev. Brown with a small white cap. Nose has caramel and chocolate malts. Taste has caramel and chocolate. Finish has caramel and cocoa. Good beer, a bit like a brown ale.

Rating #2. Had in 16oz can. Wasn't expecting much. Poured to a light amber color with not much aroma but extremely enjoyed the smooth taste without any bitterness. One of my favorite amber ales to date. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep copper with a red hue a d a frothy light brown head. Aroma of rich caramel, light chocolate, nutty and grainy with very little floral/citrus hops. Taste is rich caramel, chocolate, nuts, toast and a medium light bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied but we’ll balanced...Would like to see more hop aroma/flavor on this but otherwise it’s a nice brown/Irish red.

Rating #924 - January 18, 2014 - 473mL Can from Coop Pours a ruby amber with a white cap that recedes to a ring. Aroma has a hint of malty sweetness, and a strong citrus/floral hoppy aroma. Medium carbonation. Bubbly, dry mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Light bitterness in the finish, quite smooth. Hoppy punch and a marbley-malty sweet note. Very nice.

Sixteen ounce can. Pours amber, of course, with a decent whitish tan head. Aroma of malts, with a crispness in there. Taste is medium malty, with a touch of sweetness. Very smooth and drinkable. Thumbs up for sure!

473ml can pours a deep amber color with a 2 finger off-white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild with caramel and chocolate. Taste is a roasted grain and citrus hop bitterness with a big caramel and chocolate malty sweetness. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. A little on the sweet side, but still a pretty good amber ale.
