Growler shared at RBWG, thanks to the brewery who sent this with me to share. Poured a deep amberish brown color with aromas of booze, light sweet dark fruit, toffee, and some vanilla. Flavors are the samedecent amount of toffee and booze. Solid BA barleywine overall.

Growler… <RBWG 2013… Clear copper pour with no head. The aroma is a decadent intermingling of vanilla, toasted oak, toffee, caramel and bourbon. Full-bodied and sticky with tingly carbonation. The flavor is a wonderful assortment of vanilla, bourbon, caramel and boozy warmth right on through the finish. Reminiscent of cream soda - with a splash of dark rum.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is very sweet with grains and caramel backed by notes of vanilla bourbon and biscuit notes. Flavor has grains and caramel upfront with a good amount bourbon and backing vanilla.

Growler given to RBWG 2013 by the brewery. Thanks burg for muling! Rich amber red pour with a small khaki head. Sweet aroma, lots of sugar and caramel, as I recall their barleywine being anyway, with touches of barrel and oak that enhances the sweetness. Sweet caramel and sugar on the flavor as well, touches of barrel, some vanilla, booze, and oak. Not bad, sweet.

A man took his Goldfish to the Vet. The vet asked "what seems to be wrong with your fish. The man say’s, "I think he has Epillepsy". The Vet. looks the fish over and tells the man, "there is nothing wrong with your fish,he looks just fine to me. The man replies," I haven’t taken him out of the water yet.

Bottle at the hotel lobby RBWG. Pours clear amber with a fine, creamy cap. Lots of sugary malts on the nose, spme vanilla. Big sweet flavor, lots of boozy heat, vanilla, toffee. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Hot finish, tons of sugary malts, ripe berries. Very sweet.

Growler at RBWG. Malty, oaky with a hint of vanilla. It’s not too bad and isn’t boozy or overpowering.

Growler to taster at the RBWG Grand Tasting (thanks burg326). Looks good; an amberish-brown with off-white lacing. Smells solid; semi-sweet and boozy. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
