From growler thanks to Timmy! Hazy golden pour with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of simple grainy wheat malts and light lemon peel. Crisp, slightly sweet wheat grains with touches of lemon here and there. Meh, itís alright.

Draft... Hazy apricot-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The aroma is so laid-back, I canít pull anything from it at all and Iím tired of trying. Medium-bodied and creamy with sleepy carbonation. Balanced nicely, but thereís no true flavor here other than a touch of graininess. Finishes lightly sweet with a smidge of tea biscuit. Man, I hate to say it, but this beer really sucks. I told you... Iím not a homer.

12oz bottle courtesy of markwise. It pours deep gold with copper hues and thin white head. The light aroma offers up a bit of lemon and faint grainy malts and thatís about it. The taste begins with snippets of sweet malts and then quickly picking up lemon like notes that grow in strength to midway. Nice crisp and punchy flavors that make it interesting. Into the finish thin rings of grainy malts and a wheat sensation round out the experience. Good stuff.

the problem i has with CC is that they feel the need to overhop everything they make, whether its a hoppy style or not. they are bad about this with wheat style beers, not known for being strong in the hops department anyway. they did this with another wheat beer i had, and they did it to this one too. i mean they arent necessarily bad, its pretty good beer. but not every style needs the americanized idea that more hops is better.

Sample at Cigar City. Hazy yellow pour with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Light body with flavors of wheat, sweet malt and fruit. The finish is wheaty with a citrus aftertaste. Decent all around.
