12oz bottle courtesy of markwise. It pours deep gold with copper hues and thin white head. The light aroma offers up a bit of lemon and faint grainy malts and thats about it. The taste begins with snippets of sweet malts and then quickly picking up lemon like notes that grow in strength to midway. Nice crisp and punchy flavors that make it interesting. Into the finish thin rings of grainy malts and a wheat sensation round out the experience. Good stuff.

Can: Hefe with a hop, herbal, grassy kick! Perfect for the Roatan heat! Look for it in Bite on the Beach.

2015 BJCP Category: 18A Blonde Ale

AROMA: Orange citrus and passion fruit juice. 9/12

APPEARANCE: Pale hazy orange. Large chunks of sediment. Small, white soapy suds. 1/3

FLAVOR: Some citrus and tropical fruit notes (the most prominent flavors, but not to the extent of being juicy). Wheaty backbone is evident throughout; creates for light bready flavor. Mild hop bite on the finish. Definitely epitomizes a "pale wheat ale" but no such style exists in the 2015 BJCP guidelines. 15/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; consistently crisp but not spastic. Too hoppy to be refreshing, though finish is mostly clean. ABV a little high for the intended drinking situation, but still quite quaffable. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Hop aroma and flavor make what is usually a boring style pretty interesting. Id prefer a more truly sessionable ABV. 7/10

12oz can. Pours a hazy golden white with a white head. Interesting hybrid of IPA and Wheat. Not sure it totally works but it was pretty good. Lots of citrus notes in this one.
