12 ounce bottle from House of 1000 Beers, New Kensington. This beer’s 50th rating. Pours a slightly hazy reddish brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of nutty notes, faint floral hops and toffeeish malts. The taste is nuts, chocolate, caramel malts, mild hops and a green banana-ish note. Medium bodied. Decent enough.

Draft at House of Brewz. Poured a ruby red color with a nice looking medium sized creamy head. Aroma was some light fruits, caramel malts. Flavor was a touch nutty, with caramels and fruit. Flavor was caramel, fruit. Pretty enjoyable after an evening of macros.

Can. Amber with off white head. Aroma toffee, caramel, biscuit, dried fruits. Similar taste, little metallic and heavy on the toffee and biscuit. Little bitterness. Ok

Can at Craig’s. Pours amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee and dried fruit. Taste is much the same, more into fruitcake territory. Light bitterness on the finish. Not bad.

Pours soda-like reddish brown with a small fizzy head. Smells of caramel and hints of molasses. Taste is sweet with bitter undertones. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and fizzy mouth-carbonation, Tampa Bay Brew Bus Rollin Dirty Red Ale finishes with a lingering sweetness.

@ The Lets do a Chris O tasting. Pours amber with a thin white head, malty sweetness on the nose. Taste is the same but with a toffee biscuit note also on the aftertaste a big fruit cake kick, its nice enough without being a cracker.

DocJitsu (721) - Florida, USA - FEB 16, 2014
Pours a clear, honey-amber color with a tan head. Lacing drags the edges of the glass while the head dissipates. Aromas that are very lightly smoky cooked peas and toffee. Creamy mouthfeel with some burn on the palate. Scorched peas with a bit of malt sweetness. This one misses the mark.

Hazy deep red - amber beer. Massive pale cream coloured head. Light airt palate. Minerally carbonation. Light creamy malt. Touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish. Inoffensive but somewhat bland.

Copper colored beer with a white head. Aromas of some fresh cute grass and caramel. Tastes of biscuit malt, some caramel/butterscotch, subtle pine hop notes, and toasted cereal. Finish is bittersweet caramel. Not bad, but a bit lackluster.
