Poured from a tap. Dark brown color, medium tan head. Pepper and mild roasted malt aroma. Nice roasted malt flavor with a sweet and bitter character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black unsweetened cocoa without bitterness. Light roast. This beer is very pleasant without the alcohol typically associated with imperials.

On nitro tap at the brewpub in Tampa Bay. Poured a deep black color with a creamy, one finger brown head. The aroma was of dark fruit and bitter chocolate. The flavor was vanilla, roasted malt, coffee and a slight chocolate finish. The palate was excellent on this one, with a velvet mouthfeel, soft carbonation and a full body. I was pleased with this one, and a few minor tweaks could make it great.

Big roasty stout that actually comes up a little thin. Has a good pour w/ nice lacing. Itís kind of a 1 trick pony & lacks a little bit of depth. Nevertheless, itís a solid beer & worth a try for the avid stout fan!

Wow.TBBC never ceases to amaze me when it comes to their stouts. Poured black with no light escaping through it. A small thin tan head tha dissipated quick.Hughe coffee aroma and Flavor with a hint of roastedness. The finish had a slight bitterness to it.

This shot is good. Black pour with thick tan head. Aroma is roast chocolate, coffee, dirt and a little sweet molasses. Taste is balanced very well. Nearly as good as the aroma.

Tap at TBBC. Nose is tons of earthy cocoa, some light roast, and a nice amount of good olí chocolate. Body is dark, dark brown with a tan head. Taste follows suit with a dryish finish. Again, lost of chocolate and some cocoa and roast. A nice drinker.

Thanks to OmegaX for sharing. The nose on this one was of coffee, cocoa and dirt. High carbonation gave to a dry body, but quickly fading into a swath of coffee beans and chocolate covered raisins. I liked this one, I only wish for lighter carbonation... and a barrel-aged version as well.

Deep black with notes of heavy malt roast and cocoa nibs. Deep malt flavors show the cocoa and espresso flavors and mute the alch somewhat.

Body is a deep, nearly opaque garnet with a small ringing of foam around the edges. Faint aroma of roasted malts and alcohol. Flavor is bursting with roasted barley, coffee, and bittersweet bakerís chocolate. Alcohol is there but not too up front. Finishes dry and warm. Nice, balanced impy.
