Thanks to OmegaX for sharing. The nose on this one was of coffee, cocoa and dirt. High carbonation gave to a dry body, but quickly fading into a swath of coffee beans and chocolate covered raisins. I liked this one, I only wish for lighter carbonation... and a barrel-aged version as well.

Deep black with notes of heavy malt roast and cocoa nibs. Deep malt flavors show the cocoa and espresso flavors and mute the alch somewhat.

Tap at TBBC. Nose is tons of earthy cocoa, some light roast, and a nice amount of good olí chocolate. Body is dark, dark brown with a tan head. Taste follows suit with a dryish finish. Again, lost of chocolate and some cocoa and roast. A nice drinker.

Draft at the brewpub with Beerlando. Pours black with a chocolate milk colored head and very sticky lacing. The aroma is smokey, chocolate and not very sweet. Mouthfeel is substantial and sticky. Flavor is smooth and easy drinking with cocoa, coffee and not a lot of sweetness. Good stout.

Body is a deep, nearly opaque garnet with a small ringing of foam around the edges. Faint aroma of roasted malts and alcohol. Flavor is bursting with roasted barley, coffee, and bittersweet bakerís chocolate. Alcohol is there but not too up front. Finishes dry and warm. Nice, balanced impy.

You knowÖ I hadnít intended on rating this beer because I was too lazy to add it to the site, but since Eric added the beer, and Iíve probably had 12 pints of this over the past monthÖ Iím rating this Bizzach!

I freaking love it! Dave just dropped it on the hand pull today 2/3/05 and it is insane! Chocolate malt, chocolate fugÖ chocolate caramel fug toffee vanilla ice cream, with a hint of coffee and oak in the finish. The body is chewy and there is a perfect amount of roasted chary bitterness in the finish.
Dave, You better try and keep this on more often!

Draft at TBBC. Pours a soft looking black with blood red hues at the fringe. Head is lasting, tan with white swirls. Aroma is all roasted coffee and heavily roasted malt, a little too roasted. Little detectable hop presence. None of the complex aroma I associate with a well made imperial stout. Flavor is about the same, uninspired, but very smooth and drinkable. Average beer from a usually above average brewpub.

This shot is good. Black pour with thick tan head. Aroma is roast chocolate, coffee, dirt and a little sweet molasses. Taste is balanced very well. Nearly as good as the aroma.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2006 Iíd say this compares to some Imperials that Iíve paid $7/22 oz. First sip reminded me of Oak Aged Yeti (but thatís just me I bet noone else would say that) Pretty hoppy or maybe it was the slight alcohol bite to it. Very dark black of course nice thick tan head that stayed the whole time. Bittersweet chocolate followed by slight coffee and lots of hops, very creamy mouthfeel. The aftertaste was just like the normal stout version but with more alcohol. This was a damn good beer by these guys and they should keep up the creativity.

Tap . Pours an opaque black with a two finger dark tan head that lasts leaving great lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, fresh brewed coffee, dark chocolate, light caramel, and a touch alcohol. Taste is the same as aroma. Full slightly oily mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and well hidden alcohol. Very good.
