Light & sessionable porter! While the flavor is good, it’s lacking complexity. Pours well & the aroma is good. A little added flavor could go a long way for this beer!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Coral Springs office. Very dark brown pour, almost black with a pretty, thin tan head with gleaming white froth, like milk atop a fresh cappuccino. Aromas of caramel, hour old coffee, vanilla, leather, big cocoa, roasted malts and a little oak. Taste was similar, focusing on the coffee and chocolate, somewhat stout-like. Palate is pretty smooth.

Clear dark brown with a persistent light khaki head. Nose is dry cocoa with a wee bit of biscuit and earthy roast. The taste is dry and cocoa-ish with a little salty roast and a faint little coffee tone. Surprisingly dry and roasty overall.
