3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Ruby/caramel body with a white head. Smells of sugars and fruits. Taste is alcohol, banana, random fruits, cherries, figs. Not the best balanced barleywine Iíve had, but its not a bad beer either. Definately worth a try. Sampled on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Co in Ybor City, FL

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had on tap at the brewery. I love a sweet sticky barley wine and this was right up my alley. All malt, caramels, and sticky sweet fruit. Loved it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at the Brewpub. Dark amber hazy with a layer of film on top. Nice blend of aromas from hops, caramel notes and woody cask notes. Creamy body and lightly carbonated. Interesting flavor included vanilla, citrus, wood, malt and floral hops. Enjoyed nicely yet the Hogheaven I followed it with was even better.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Growler, overnighted. 3 days old when I had this. The beer pours a dark amber with slight head. Aroma is urine on baby diapers that have been sitting in the sun for a few days. Very off putting. The taste is banana and fruit stripe gum with loads of heat. There is definitely some hop presence to this but itís just very overwhelming with the alcohol. Overall, the smell just was too much and the odd mash of flavors in the beer didnít really help things out.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Pours a ruby red with not much head. Aroma is sweet with fruits and that normal Barley Wine smell. Medium bodied with quite a sweet flavor but not as overwhelming as most Barley Wines Iíve had. This one is pretty subtle but drinkable. Pretty good overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The wife and I had this on draught at Tampa Bay Brewing Co in Ybor City, FL
Pours a hazy, orangy, amber with a small white head. Nose if pine, grapefruit, with maybe a touch of other fruits. Taste is alcohol, banana, and fruity malts, and with a lot of hops. And just in case you missed them thereís a healthy dose of hops in the finish too. Not too shabby....I like it!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the brewpup. Aroma of sweet caramel, hops and malt. Sticky, almost cloying mouthfeel. Pours a reddish amber color with a nice sized white head. Nice lacing. Fore is some nutty malt notes, hops and toffee. Finish is very clean, no bitter hop bite. I liked this one a lot. Well done TBBC.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a caramel color with a small off-white head. Aroma was hoppy with citrus and pine. Alcohol was also evident. The taste was overpowered by alcohol and bitterness. Really had trouble finding the sweetness over the alcoholic and hop notes. Yet, this wasnít a bad beer, just not what I expected. Rich and chewy mouthfeel.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught @ Tampa Bay Brewing Co, Ybor City, FL: A ruby red pour, thin brown head on top. Aroma was oddly non-existent on this one, try as I might I just couldnít pull anything out. Extremely smooth to sip itís quite boozy and prominently demerara sugar. They boast 100IBUs but Iíll be danged if I could find them. Still, a nice brew.
