Dark gold pour with a thick white head. Big pungent citrus hop aroma. Taste is big hoppy bitterness, lots of citrus and hint of vegetal notes with a big malt body. Good and fresh.

This was a fun brew for sure. The aroma really shows off the Centennial hop profile with hints of pine. It was sweeter than I had imagined, with a solid crystal malt sweetness and soft caramel notes. It finished clean and bitter, not hinting at all the high alcohol by volume. Cheers!!!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep amber pour with lots of white head. Tons of pine and resin hop aromas - smells great! Lots of bitterness but a caramel malt backbone to keep it from getting too out of hand. Citrus and more pine. ABV well hidden.

Poured a nice bronze color with white head from the tap at TBBC. Aroma of a bouquet of flowers, not too many hops comming through. Taste of grapefruit, hops and a hint of potpourri.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured up on tap at TBBC into a dimpled mug and with a clear copper body with gold hues supporting an off white head. The aroma wasn’t focused too well in the hugely wide mouthed dimpled mug but I ended up noticing mild to faint levels of leafy herbal hops, ribbons of spicy hops, sweet maltiness and tired buttery yeast. This is the first beer of the day for me and I get pleasing smooth flavor right from the start with malt sweetness, firm loads of grapefruit and tangelo like citrus hop, spicy hops and a good deal of pine hops too. There are a few moments around midway where a touch of sweet light skinned fruit esteriness and just a quick pulse of buttery diacetyl make their presence known. Into the finish the citrus and pine and lesser notes of spicy hops flow straight into full boil hop addition bittering hops and those notes linger on and on into the after taste. Solid flavor and bittering hops for this IIPA to go along with a modest booziness for this big ABV offering. The yummy hoppiness helps me forget about the tired yeast notes. This is YUM.
