COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An exceptionally light colored ale fermented at lower than normal temperatures for a smooth, clean finish. You can expect a light bodied ale with a slight hop nose. This is in the style of a Kolsch that originated in Koln, Germany.

Sample at the brewpub. Pale yellow color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Fruit, malt and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly sweet with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Average overall.

Mild aroma of hops, clear golden colour with a transient white head. Flowery taste with a hint of hops, slightly sweet. Watery feel with a short lasting chalky palate.

Sampled some of this beer from a pint at the brewpub in Ybor. The beer had a light to medium gold color with a good sized foamy-creamy white head with great retention, and very good lacing and cling. Its aroma had lighter citrus notes with some herbal and yeast components, along with touches of earthy and grainy hops. The beer had a somewhat bitter taste with blends of grain and citrus, and a lighter sweetness with touches of yeast and wheat. A lighter beer with average carbonation, and a fairly wet body and average mouthfeel.

Kolsch ehh. So light, so uninteresting - I say it every time. Hands down 1 of the worst styles of beer & this is no exception. Plain, plain, plain.

Poured from a tap. Clear golden color, light white head. Very faint aroma of grains. Light beer with a bread like quality with a very light hop character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crystal clear blonde with a nose of toast and earthy blonde malt. Flavor of the same, lots of toast and bittersweet pale cereal grains. Nothing special, but clean and nothing outright wrong. Just a bit boring, if a bit sharp and grassy on the middle.

Draft at Tampa Bay Brewing in Coral Springs. Snifter. Yellowish pour with significant haze. Light creamy looking head. Great lacing. Light aromas with fresh hops and dough. Taste is light bitter hops with a very smooth, very slight floral finish.
