Bottle at Key Biscayne Ritz-Carlton. Nice amber body. Nose is skunky, floral. Coconut definitely in there. Creamy.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. This beer is difficult to tell the coconut in thar. Its a typical American pale ale. Not sure where the golden or blond comes in because it looks like a pale apa. Nice lacing with a very thin head. Yes, decent co2 and quite acceptable, perhaps it does fall under the old golden ale thing. But, still can’t feel the coconut, I wonder if its real coke nut or fake coke nut.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Taps bubbly, slightly hazy golden with a thick pale buff head. Aroma presents a strong note of coconut riding malty and fruity tones. Flavor features a definite piña colada note plus fresh malt and a hint of hops. Mouthfeel delivers decent body, not a lot of fizz. Go coconuts for Big Rod.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
3/3/16. On tap at World of Beer - Destin. Golden pour with a small off-white head. Huge fake coconut aroma, sunblock all over this one - can’t really get past that. Slightly better flavor, the sunblock coconut is slightly more subdued, caramel and doughy maltiness comes through a touch. Nah.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has a lot of coconut to it. That’s about all you can get, but it is damn tasty. Medium body and medium carbonation. Could crush these easy.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a hazy amber from a can. Brother in law says its a drain pour, I just don't think it's anything special. Not picking up on any coconut. Not a very good beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is an interesting one. Has a light red or amber appearance. Flavor is a little funky up front. Strong coconut, but sort of seems too sweet or artificially. All I could think it "suntan lotion". Got used to it after a few sips, and helps to enhance the bland and mild flavors that most blondes have. Something different to try for summer beer, but not really something I’d look for in the future.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ House of Beer - Gainesville. Hazed darker golden colored beer with a thin, short lived, white head. Has sort of a light, raw coconut aroma and flavor to it. Slight cream and chew grains. Hints of bread and vanilla, too. Sweet, light bodied, and a hint of coconut…so I guess it’s pretty much as advertised. Not great, not terrible.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazed yellow golden color with white head. Coconuts, sweetness, and some toffee on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light to medium bodied. Finishes with more coconut.
