Cask at the brewpub, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a fine, white cream head. Mellow aroma of light toast and dirt. Light sweet flavor with dirt, leaves, minerals and faint smoke. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mild dryness to finish with toasted bread, more dirt, minerals and burnt leaves. So so.

Tap East. Hazy brown beer, big pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Sweetish malts, trace of dark chocolate. Mild orange and dried fruits. Dry finish. Tangy dried fruits aftertaste. Not bad but a little flat for a Schwartz.

Cask conditioned at Tap East Pub & Brewery, Stratford, London. Dark brown with white head. Quite a thin beer right from the start, watery with a light malty bitterness. Some roasty malt notes perhaps, just lacks impact.
