3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask @ Tap East. The pour’s deep brown with a small off-white head. The aroma’s of rich spices, coffee rub, cinnamon. Raisin cake. Some toasted brown bread. The taste is spicy yule log, hints of wood and cinnamon. Rich chocolate and cranberry. Some caramel and vanilla. Spicy finish. Quite a full body considering the modes ABV. Overall, a nice christmas beer. A very spicy, robust number.

Hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Little pale cream coloured head. Smooth malt - a little cream. Mild cooling spices, nicely judged, not overdone. Sweet fruits come to the fore before the semi dry finish and then a little moderate hop bitterness. Nicely balanced and a pretty drinkable spiced Christmas Beer.
