Cask conditioned handpump Rake London 16/05/13. A light golden beer with a little wisp of head. Good orangey bittering hps throughout. Tends towards a little creaminess but otherwise a pleasant hoppier golden. Perhaps ends a little over bitter but I liked it enough.

On cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, 22/02/13. Pale gold. Little white head. Tropical, light hop aroma (mango). Light. Excellent balance. Very drinkable, with good, fresh fruit aromas & flavours (pineapple). Pretty good; nice flavour for 3%, but not quite as good as some other high-flavour, low abv. beers (e.g. Redemption - Trinity).

Cask at Tap East, 22/02/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head that clears to the edge. Nose is lemon, orange, pale malt, hops, touch of grass. Taste comprises lemon, orange, citrus, grass, hops, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some bitterness in a dry finish. Ok drinkable stuff.

Cask @ Tap East. The pour’s deep gold with no head. The nose is fresh lemon squash, general unwashed armpit funkiness. Some sweet berries and angel food cake. The taste is much the same. Light, zippy citrus flavors. Soft bready presence. Light body, smooth and highly drinkable. Overall, a nice, simple beer. This would be welcomed when the weather’s warmer!

Cask the brewpub, London. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a light, creamy head. Bright straw and dry lemon nose. Light sweet flavor with dry grass, more straw, lemon, doughy pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter finish of grass and straw, some light sweetness. Very dry overall. OK.
