Pours clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramely malts, fruity hops, citrus, lemon and toffee. Taste is malty, sweetish and caramely with some crisp grassy hops, fruits, toffee, citrus, lemon, pine and resin. Finish is malty, sweetish and caramely with some bitterness, grassy hops, citrus and fruity notes. Malty and sweetish IPA, not super fresh but still okay.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden bodied with a slender white head, this IPA (clever name for a beer) has a sharp aroma of grapefruit zest and lemon (and a whiff of cat box) over some cereal scents. The flavor is lemony, sweetened cereal with a drip of caramel followed by a catty, zesty bitterness, not intense, but enjoyable. The finish is a bit sweet with some earthy pip bitterness. Okay for an occasional drink.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fles thuis gedronken gedeeld met neef Rene. Donker oranje, licht troebel van kleur. Flink bitter en dennennaalden hop smaak maar mogelijk vanwege ouderdom weinig aroma. Redelijk lekker.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by my uncle Ino. Hazy medium to dark orange color, medium sized off-white head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, strong pine and piney hops. Taste moderate to heavy malts, piney hops and bitter hops again. A little old (best before date Jan 2015) so maybe less fruity but pretty nice nonetheless.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber lasting ivory head. Classic American hop ipa grapefruit resin aroma. It’s ok. Not amazing. But it’s ok, solid and competent. Doesn’t hit with fresh fresh hop but it’s got decent bitterness on the finish and decent resiny hop. American malty aroma. Fine. A little bit of heat. But it’s solid enough

2.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
The aroma is great but as far as IPAs it had an odd flavor on the backend. Not bad for the most part. I would definitely drink it again. I love to drink California brewery beers. Always drink local.
