COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

355ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head settling slowly to reveal some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral and citrus (grapefruit and tangerine?) with some caramel. Taste is a grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a caramel malt sweetness. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Nicely balanced IPA which is very flavorful and definitely worth a sampling.

I can taste the Citra hops for sure, maybe the Simcoe is adding a bit of depth that Citra-only IPAs can have. Overall a very solid IPA worth at least a try if you get the opportunity.

12 oz bottle, poured into Sam Adams style glass. Aroma brings through the grapefruit. Appearance has minimal head and white foam. You can taste the citrus and medium bitterness. Palates with medium body, average carbonation, and very sticky. Solid IPA overall.

This is a solid IPA... Golden in color with a soft white head. Strong piney-hop aroma. Well balanced hoppy floral-piney character, with a mid-range dry-sweet body. Really solid IPA, great bang for the buck.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a clear, golden body and a dense, big, off-white head that lasts and leaves lacings. The aroma could have more punch I think, pine cones, peach hints and a grassy and lightly malty touch. Bitter flavor with a hint of fluorine tooth paste. Pine cones, peaches and some freshly mown grass, as well as a little sweetness, just enough to let the bitterness play the lead role. Full to medium body, with a soft and maybe a little low carbonation level. Long finish with a tad to little bitterness. Overall, most definitely a nice brew, but it could use a bit more punch all the way. Very easy drinkable though. 130822

Pours a orange light copper color pretty good head tight bubbles and big ones. Aroma citrucy tropical tangerines grapefruit and some sweet malts. Taste follows the Aroma with a hop presents upfront and finished with a tangerine note. Medium mouth feel. Not bad at all. Refreshing fruity ipa.
