Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

355 ml bottle. BBE 30.09.2014.
Pours clear dark golden-copper color with a large white head. Very resinous and piney aroma, some sweet tropical fruits lots of oily hops. Sweet orange and resinous hops on the flavor, mild caramel, sweetish pale malts and some mild gooseberry notes as well. Smooth oily palate with a bitter malty finish. A very nice and balanced IPA leaning towards the malty side, feels very fresh even though it’s very close to BBE date, but I bet It’d be even better fresh. Good.

Nice orange colour with a white head. Hoppy floral aroma. Mellow touch but not so fresh anymore. Good drinkability.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, orange, tangerine, caramel malty, biscuity background. Taste is minimally biting bitter hoppy, piney, hints of grapefruit, orange, orange zest, slightly light-bodied caramel malty basis; not boring of course, but somehow monotonous, narrow, one-sided, too clean.

Las Vegas, NV - Total Wine - Summerlin - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling light copper with a snow white head, nice lacing. Solid, fresh spruce aroma. Flavor has a solid citrusy bitter backbone, some mango fruitiness, just a hint of caramel sweetness. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel with a decent thickness,

Clear orange with a two-finger frothy white head and light lacing. Aromas of citrus - orange -, apricot, peach, and floral hops. Flavors are similar, featuring bitter citrus hops, honey and caramel. Light body, oily texture, lively carbonation and a clean bitter finish.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light thin malts, touch of thin and sweet cream. Light orange hops, fresh and slightly tangy. Bitter-sweet pine. Touches of floral things and lime. Light semi dry finish with a piney lime linger and hop spice. Good stuff.
