Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

Golden color with a foamy off white head. Big grapefruit, and tropical fruit hop nose. Sweet beer with caramel, candied grapefruit rind, apricot, bitter orange, and sticky hop resin. NIce IPA and it goes well with the pizza.

extremely well balanced beer without the overbearing hops that any of the hoppy beers go for today with an incredible floral or grapefruity aftertaste with a nice long tongue searing aftertaste.....an incredible beer

22oz bomber into glass in Vegas pours a maramalide orange tan copper gold, nice. Head is full, bubbly, encompassing, and widespread.a nice glaze remains over the brew. Aroma is orange, hops, more citrus, cedar, cider, apples, more hops and pleasant. Taste is hop full all over, pleasant citrus, melon, berries at points, nice herbage of grass and weed, melon ball finish, more hops. Pleasant drinking experience, orange and hops mingle perfectly, Abv is adequate for this brew but undectected. Glad I picked this one up on the west coast on the gam vaca of 2014.

Great beer from San Luis Obispo. Lots of hops in a crisp beer. Clear color, malty finish. Pine and citrus in there somewhere. Like an orange pine cone. - Snowboards and IPA

Bottle. No date. Tropical, peach, stonefruit aromas are first noticeable, followed by herbal, citrus rind nuances. Not bad.. Mild bitterness lingers with herbal, citrus rind flavors that seem to transition back into peach/stonefruit flavors again. I wish I knew how old this bottle is and would love to try this fresh from the brewery. Surprising better then I expect for some reason. Glad I picked up a bottle.. I'd drink it again for the fair price. Rating based on random bottle.. It's probably better fresh on draft. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...
