COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

12oz bottle purchased at the brewery a week ago. Aroma is nice with a light malt background, mostly pale malt but a hint of caramel. Moderately strong hop aroma fairly balanced between pine resin and citrus. Virus notes are mostly grapefruit but with a hint of mandarin or tangerine. Faint tropical fruit notes. Pours a fairly clear golden orange with hints of copper and amber. Medium thick, slightly off white head with moderate retention. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty upfront with mostly cracker notes but a hint of light caramel. Fairly strong hop flavors that are very fruity. Medium tropical fruit noted with large amounts of citrus. Citrus is orange and tangerine at first but fades to grapefruit. Finish has a moderately strong bitterness with some lingering pine resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a faint stickiness and medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a really nice IPA from a very I hasn’t really heard much of. Very well balanced hop character with s nice level of bitterness. The touch of malt, including the caramel, works well with the hop notes.

Draft: nice lacing on the glass, floral notes are amazing with citrus, has a nice grapefruit taste that you can enjoy without it being over done with hops. A Well done Ipa

Clear golden amber with a massive foamy white head. Fruity hop aroma, tangerine, peach, orange. Sweet caramel body, alcohol well hidden. Great medium full body. Rare IPA where malt is done far better than hops.

A fairly standard IPA. Super hoppy, notes of citrus and a bit grassy. No sweetness which would probably benefit the aromas in this IPA quite a bit. Still, an all around fairly decent IPA.

On tap. Clear amber, thin white cap. Nice lacing. Aroma is outstanding - grapefruit, tropical fruit accompanied by a heavy dose of pine. Taste starts sweet, but quickly transitions to citrusy hop bitterness. Finishes dry. Medium body with crisp carbo. Legit IPA.
