COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

I can taste the Citra hops for sure, maybe the Simcoe is adding a bit of depth that Citra-only IPAs can have. Overall a very solid IPA worth at least a try if you get the opportunity.

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber lasting ivory head. Classic American hop ipa grapefruit resin aroma. It’s ok. Not amazing. But it’s ok, solid and competent. Doesn’t hit with fresh fresh hop but it’s got decent bitterness on the finish and decent resiny hop. American malty aroma. Fine. A little bit of heat. But it’s solid enough

The aroma is great but as far as IPAs it had an odd flavor on the backend. Not bad for the most part. I would definitely drink it again. I love to drink California brewery beers. Always drink local.

Bomber from Binny’s in Schaumburg, IL. This must be well aged or badly mishandled, because no way this bottle would be a 90+ rated beer. Clear yellow-orange pour with a small soapy white head. Cardboard, stale hops, a bit of herbal - I can’t get much of the good stuff others found in this. Damn shame.

12 oz bottle thanks to Wittales. Clear light amber pour, white head. Aroma: spicy and herbal, pines and thick caramel. Taste: Moderately sweet, a little bready, caramel with sharp bitter finish. Palate: medium+ body, slick/thick texture, average carbonation. Overall: had never heard of this one before. Pretty typical IPA with a few months on it (I presume - no bottle date).

Dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlcher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, exotische Früchte, bitter. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, hopfig, nicht so bitter, grasig, leicht trocken, top!

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, not a whole lot else – big pine and a thin malt backing. Flavour is identical, with monolithic piney hop notes, some juiciness, and a bready caramel malt backing. Nice pine-dominated IPA, but nothing overly special.

On draft. Orange juice. Not beery orange juice, just orange juice-as-IPA. Faint chocolate malts as it warms, but overwhelmingly sweet, sweet OJ. Too sweet, too one note.

(bottle) Wanted to sample a local brewer while passing through the California Central Coast on vacation. This was a nice find. Decent IPA with grapefruit and citrus flavors. A nice find.

12 oz bottle. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Citrusy and floral hops, mild bitterness and some mild sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is dry citrus, grapefruit and floral hops, grainy malt and mild to moderate bitterness. Drinkable. Soft carbonation.
