COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

Light orange/golden in color from the tap with a foamy head. Scents and flavors of citrus and floral and a hop taste but smooth finish on the palate.

12oz bottle from Ales By Mail. Orange brown, good head. Leafy cereal hop aroma. Resin woody hop flavour. Sharp with bitter aftertaste. A solid IPA.

Bottle - golden colour, white head. aroma of citrus orange hops and pine, juicy fruit and solid malts, some honey. Taste doesnít disappoint, similar elements, nice mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Nice bitter finish. Very nice IPA.

Cornfield (5552) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2014
Golden bodied with a slender white head, this IPA (clever name for a beer) has a sharp aroma of grapefruit zest and lemon (and a whiff of cat box) over some cereal scents. The flavor is lemony, sweetened cereal with a drip of caramel followed by a catty, zesty bitterness, not intense, but enjoyable. The finish is a bit sweet with some earthy pip bitterness. Okay for an occasional drink.

Fles thuis gedronken gedeeld met neef Rene. Donker oranje, licht troebel van kleur. Flink bitter en dennennaalden hop smaak maar mogelijk vanwege ouderdom weinig aroma. Redelijk lekker.

Bottle shared by my uncle Ino. Hazy medium to dark orange color, medium sized off-white head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, strong pine and piney hops. Taste moderate to heavy malts, piney hops and bitter hops again. A little old (best before date Jan 2015) so maybe less fruity but pretty nice nonetheless.

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber lasting ivory head. Classic American hop ipa grapefruit resin aroma. Itís ok. Not amazing. But itís ok, solid and competent. Doesnít hit with fresh fresh hop but itís got decent bitterness on the finish and decent resiny hop. American malty aroma. Fine. A little bit of heat. But itís solid enough

The aroma is great but as far as IPAs it had an odd flavor on the backend. Not bad for the most part. I would definitely drink it again. I love to drink California brewery beers. Always drink local.

Bomber from Binnyís in Schaumburg, IL. This must be well aged or badly mishandled, because no way this bottle would be a 90+ rated beer. Clear yellow-orange pour with a small soapy white head. Cardboard, stale hops, a bit of herbal - I canít get much of the good stuff others found in this. Damn shame.
