COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here at Tap It Brewing we take a unique approach toward crafting an India Pale Ale and challenge the current status quo. The goal? To craft an India Pale Ale hoppy in flavor and aroma that goes down smooth. We utilize the avant-garde method of First Wort Hopping, the technique of adding hops to the kettle before boil. This creates a harmonious explosion of hop aroma and flavor noticeable throughout the tasting experience. Fragrances of tangerine and grapefruit entice the nose. A thick hazy rich head leads drinkers toward an experience rich in citrus and earthy flavors ending with a smooth, sticky finish. The complex floral and citrusy tones from Citra and Simcoe hops welcome you, while two more hop varietals mate smoothly with four malt varieties for an unmatched aroma. Altogether, a crisp pleasurable full bodied taste. A word of caution: Drinking Tap It IPA around friends may cause envy.

This is the best IPA Iíve every had! Tons of aroma from the first wort hopping that lends your palette a floral and citrusy note. Some of the hops include citra and simcoe which gives a bit of grapefruit flavor to it. Itís not as hoppy as most IPAs because of the malt thatís added to balance the intense flavor. Not to mention, it won 1st place at GABF in the IPA category! Definitely recommended!

extremely well balanced beer without the overbearing hops that any of the hoppy beers go for today with an incredible floral or grapefruity aftertaste with a nice long tongue searing aftertaste.....an incredible beer

Aroma is mildly hoppy with notes of citrus fruits (tangerine and grapefruit). A crisp, smooth beer that tastes of the afformentioned citrus fruits. One of the better IPAs Iíve had. Delicious.

I tried this at an event during a recent trip to SLO. It poured a rich amber color with lots of carbonation and a thick head. The smell was a strong citrusy/fruity/hoppy aroma with just a light malt and caramel smell. The mouth feel was rich and full with a malty caramel start and a citrusy hop finish with just a light bitterness. This is a nice crisp refreshing IPA. I thoroughly enjoyed it and canít wait to get my hands on some more!

One of my go to IPAs. Not too pricey, found at Costco for $3.50 for .22 oz. Smell is great, floral, citrus, grapefruit. Nice amber color, with tight white foamy head that retains itself through the pour. This is what I consider a great west coast IPA, only other craft brew that Iíve had thatís as good is Sculpinís IPA. I home brew and was able to create a similar brew using mainly Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe hops for aroma and flavor. Great beer!
