1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
A pretty boring amber with seemingly cheap caramel malt; maybe a slight hop presence, but nothing of note. Not bad, but rather dull.

Taste is caramel, banana and bubble gum. Smooth and easy drinking, not sure why it only rates an 11 overall.

Heard this was like Fat Tire. Not close to it. It’s a light-medium bodied amber with light hints of caramel & toasted malts. Not bad, but definitely will not be my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice for beer

Bleh. Standard macro style amber. Not much nose. Overly sweet. Clean. Probably better on a really hot day.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light amber coloured beer, medium white head and lots of carbonation. Little herby and malty touched aroma. Full palate. Finish is light creamy bitter dry and grainy malty hinted. Some unfermented sugger aftertaste making the beer rather heavy. Medium.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz. bottle from a cooler at a party this past weekend. Pours a clear, dull amber-gold color with a fizzy, finger-thick eggshell white head. Light aroma of toasted malts, soap, old wet cut grass, and overripe fruit rind. Flavor of toasted malts, dry grains, soap, spoiled fruit, metal, and almost a little bit of rye. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a metallic, uneven mouthfeel. Didn’t realize this was Melanie Brewing. Strange amber ale that gets fairly nasty as it warms, so drink it fast.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A clear amber-gold pour with a white head. The aroma is a little earthy with some faint caramel. The medium body has a creamy texture, average carbonation, and a moderately sweet taste.

Smells like straw and colored slightly more brown than that as well. Taste is very malt sweet up front followed by a slight bready flavor finishing with peppery hops and some lingering banana
