Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with fair head. Aroma of caramel, bit of grain and malt. Taste of caramel, honey and malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a sweet finish. Moderate body, smooth and candy sweetness. Nice if you are into bubblegum.

I’ve never had a beer quite like this. I expected mild maltiness, but got medicinal and metallic.

Poured into a perfect pint. Says "ale with honey added" on label, so this might be a different listing. 3.25 A: Clear dark orange color. Two fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is a touch below average and a short ring of lacing is left. 2.5 S: Light toastiness. Bland overall with a noticeable adjunct aroma hinting at rice. A touch of honey comes through, but only because the rest of the nose is so anemic. 2.0 T: Man this is bad. It’s has that sickening adjunct sweetness that I will never get used to. The residual honey only bolsters this flavor. Again light toastiness and maybe a touch of graininesss. 2.5 M: Lighter body. Too much carbonation. Could be creaminess. Finish leaves a horrible sweet aftertaste. 1.75 D: This beer is ass. Don’t buy it. Avoid it at all costs. ★ 792 characters DavoleBomb, Aug 18, 2013

Upon pouring this beer, I immediately knew I was in trouble. It just SOUNDED like it was going to be a crappy beer. The "head" was fizzing rapidly, as if it couldn’t wait to disappear as quickly as possible. It was reminiscent of finding that 2-liter bottle of cola that’s been sitting in your fridge for weeks because no one wanted the last half glass of flat soda pop. I got screwed when I wanted a frothy beverage then, and I got screwed now with this sorry excuse for an amber ale. The carbonation evanesced faster than the talent level of a Miami Marlins roster after winning the World Series. The aroma was no better. It smelled like your hand after holding a pocketful of arcade tokens. As for the taste--does "fallacy" count as a taste? Besides being flat and listless, this "copper" colored ale tasted like it was brewed with pre-1982 pennies. I’ve never actually drank anything brewed with pre-1982 pennies (or post- for that matter), but I think I accurately likened the taste. This beer is brewed in Rochester, New York. I was in Georgia when I found it. It was probably delivered via backroads in an open bed truck, with the sun pounding away at the uncovered bottles the entire time. This entire Tap Room No. 21 series should be put in a crate Raiders-of-the-Lost-Ark-style--not because it’s a relic, but because it should be hidden away so the general public never sees it again.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This is a terrible beer! Avoid it at all costs, the only marginal good thing is the appearance and that is average at best.

Bottle. Bleh - what the heck is this? Clear light amber pour with a small but somewhat dense white head. Stale grains / malt. Nothing else to say. Awful.

Bottle from GO: Poured a medium amber colored liquid with a soft foam head. Aroma is putrid with the smell of dead yeast and old syrupy malts. The drink isn’t as bad as my nose lead me to believe but it does taste like a watered down amber ale that has a puckering bitterness of old malts that is not pleasant. Tap Room No. 21 you tricked me once into buying your beer but doubt you guys will be able to do it again.
