1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, in my Hoegaarden glass resembles a wit in appearance only. A grandma lamp shade yellow with a small dissipating head. The marketed spice aroma and taste is nebulous if existing at all. A mild yeast taste with some floral hops but none of the spice or citrus associated with this style.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
10/4/14. 12oz bottle from Five Points. Mildly hazed orange pour under a small khaki head that sizzles away too fast and laces very mildly. Mild, plain aroma, some orange and doughiness, maybe a little butter. Mild flavor, doughy, a touch acidic/tart, some orange and spice, but very light, a touch of cream in there as well? Hmm. Seems a little buttery/creamy/something weird. Oh well, it was cheap.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma isn’t really very wit. Med minus body. Not a lot of flavor here. A little wheat, a very little spice. Short on flavor/ingredients.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a cloudy gold with a medium white head. Aromas of citrus, spruce, and hay. Medium to heavy sweet with a touch of bitter. Medium body with a slight sticky texture. It seems this brewery aims for average with a lot and doesn’t try to take any chances. That leaves an average beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is of lemon and wheat. Creamy body, lots of carbonation. More lemon/citrus flavors and light banana. More tart than I would like in a wit. Lingering orange. Not half bad. A bit too bubbly and citrusy for the style, but it’s not bad from Kroger.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Kroger. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have sweeter malts, wheat, a hint of bread and light citrus. There is no spice character that I could find. Meh.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
This beer had some weird and off-putting flavors. Hardly recognizable as a wit. I don’t know if it was a bad batch?

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours way too clear and too gold for the style, with a small white head that lasts a while and leaves some lace. Notes of corn, sweet malts, sugars, wheat - not really any trace of spices, like the coriander I’d expect. No fruit sweetness, either, just a lot of sweet alts. Light-bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Off-style and underwhelming.
