COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A complex Belgian-style ale. Golden to copper in color, medium to full-bodied, nice and fruity, with a slightly dry and spicy finish. Very drinkable and deceptively 9.6% abv.

A: The beer pours a slightly hazed golden amber with a white head. S: A lot of sugar on the nose with a rather strong citrus note to it, too. There is plenty of bready malt and yeast with a light fruitiness and spice. On the back end is just a bit of banana and coriander. T: The flavor is intensely sweet. Lots of candi sugar and an almost honey-like flavor. More sweet citrus and candied orange peel to it. A light spice note and a bit of yeast. Some decent flavors, but mostly just sweet. M: The body is medium with a medium to high carbonation. O: This wasn’t terribly offensive, nor was it boozy, it was just sweet and that was about it.

Pour was straw yellow, pale. The aroma was fruity with a mild funk. The flavor was just too darned sweet and syrupy. My first beer while out on the West Coast...serves me right for not choosing the IPA.

A good golden color with a nice yeasty aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet with the bananas. It is a good and rather easy to drink version of this style.

ON tap at Taps. First rater. Color was a golden, coppery color. Clear. Aroma was very nice for the style. Wheat, banana, alcohol and flowers. The flavor was not quite as good as the aroma. It was a bit too hot. Flavor was dry. Flavor of alcohol, bread, apple, fruit and the normal wheatish flavors. Despite the hotness, pretty good for the style.
