COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light, turn-of-the century American ale. Corn sugar added to the boil provides a hint of residual sweetness. Straw colored, fruity and smooth with a pleasant hop bouquet.

4 feb 2012, tap at Taps. Yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. Oddly enough it smells almost exactly like Budweiser. First taste and I thought it was Budweiser. There is a certain creaminess that comes out at the finish. Taste profile is pretty much Bud but it has less of a crispness. Decent but I certainly wouldn’t call it a cream ale.

I guess I was expecting something a little heartier. This is fine for what it is, a well done lager. Very crisp and bubbly. Mostly corn on the palate. Pours a dark yellow. Was gone pretty quickly.

Draft. A hazy light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry and bitter finish, where the straw note lingers.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a minimal white head over a clear, very pale body. Aroma is sweet, lightly fruity, corn and cereal. Taste is crisp, corn, some mild diacetyl, corn flakes cereal. Medium bitterness. Dry. Medium to high carbonation with a light body.

Sampled on tap at Taps on 7/10/2010 from a 2 oz sampler. This cream ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is cereal and grain, somewhat sweet. A light to medium bodied cream ale. The malts are grainy and cereal. The hops are floral. Clean and crisp. A very slightly touch of corn, maybe. Nice balance. Light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Appearance: Pours a clear light yellow gold with visible rising carbonation and a foamy white head. Aroma: Light sweet corn, honey and bitter euro hops. Taste: Sweet corn! honey and bitter euro hops. Mouthfeel: Full and fizzy. Overall: Perfect for what it was!

A: The pour is a clear, light golden color with a white layer of foam on top. S: The aroma is rather bland, with the main attribute being sweet malt and almost nothing else. T: There isn’t much of an improvement in terms of the flavor. This beer is extremely light. There’s a light malt flavor and perhaps a touch of citrus. The finish has a corn character to it which is not what I was looking for. M: Like most of the other aspects of this beer, the mouthfeel is light and watery. D: This is another one of those beers that is drinkable because of a real lack of character. I wouldn’t order this one again, however.
