A: The pour is a hazy, golden color with a nice white head which left some lacing on the glass.
S: I was pleasantly surprised to find the aromas of banana and clove rather than the usual bad pale wheat ale you find at American brewpubs. While this was a nice surprise, the nose was probably a bit heavy on the clove.
T: Like the nose, the flavor is dominated by the clove and spice with the bananas coming through quite a bit as well. The wheat doesn’t really have a chance to come through.
M: The body is a light-medium with abundant carbonation. A lot of times this wouldn’t be the best, but it works well with this beer.
D: The spice was a bit heavy for my taste, but this was still a pretty enjoyable beer. The fact they have the right flavor profile is nice to see and helped in my drinking of it.
