A: The pour is sort of dark for a Helles. Amber in color with a finger of white head.
S: Smells is pretty light, I must say. Some decent enough bread and floral hop aromas and certainly some lager yeast is there.
T: The flavor is mostly bread with a touch of sugar and corn syrup. Some floral and maybe earthy hop notes and a minimal bitterness. Pretty clean, though.
M: The body is light to medium with a moderate carbonation.
D: Pretty well done, especially for Taps. Maybe not a true Helles, but not bad at all.

Sampled on tap at Taps on 7/10/2010 from a 2 oz sampler. This helles pours a light gold color from the tap. The aroma is caramel, biscuty, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied helles. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a hint of bready malts. The hops are herbal. Nice balance. Nice summer bird. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
