Pours clear amber/brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral, bread and hint of chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, caramel and bread finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the Brea location. An off-white head sits on top of a clear, amber body. The aroma is a tad neutral, caramel and a grassy, fruity touch escapes the glass. There’s some roasted notes in the flavor, caramel, bitterness and some grassy hints. Quite dry, pleasant carbonation level. A style that bores me, but this was quite decent. 130812

Pours a light copper color with a yellow tinge to it. Aroma is of caramel mixed with toast. Taste is a bit creamy but very tasty. A complex beer with a slight sweetness to it. An easy drinking beer that I would have again. A good representation of the Irish Red style.

Generally Irish Reds are not my favorite, but this is beer is great. Big chocolate and slightly burnt toast nose. Nice malty flavor with a clean, dry finish. Very drinkable and I would love to have more than one.
