Wulfstan (509), California, USA Mar 19, 2009 I had this on tap at the Taps Bebek in Istanbul. It’s a decent cream ale, very similar to the few US micro-brew cream ales I’ve had. It’s light copper with a fairly big off-white head steadily shrinking to a wispy top and it laves a little lace. The aroma is light, musty fruit and caramelly grain. The taste was similar, stronger than the aroma but otherwise the same overall character with a hint of citrus. It’s quite drinkable, with a light bitterness to balance the light sweetness, but it’s rather thin and a bit bland. The feel was pretty good. emotv (331), Izmir, Turkey Jan 24, 2009 Now these are days Taps istanbul changing from micro brewery to beer fabricator. These effects to tehir beers. I actually new taste less tastier then before. Cream Ale is not my favorite style but this was ok taste. Have a golden colour and empty finish, some malty aromas but not deep enough. Was good with their salads.
