courtesy of Hasan Kaydin - clear and bright reddish-amber colour with a little beige foam; some crystal malts in the front leaving aromas of red fruit marmalade; dusty; quite astringent, tart and effervescent; medium malt body and mainly sweet, low bitterness and a short fizzy moderately malty finish with more light red fruity notes - modest

Bottle shared by marchcow. Thanks for bringing this back from Turkey! Poured a clear medium orange-copper color. Smelled of subdued apple cider and whole wheat cracker, but the nose was subdued overall. Light bodied and dry with a distinct tobacco-like, almost peaty note and some dried apple. Interesting.

Just found a bottle (and 6 packs) available while travelling at a Migros supermarket. A nice surprise and a cool shaped bottle. Aroma is light fruity malt - not strong. Color is a tea like brownish red with a foamy head that sticks decently to the glass. Flavor is decent for a red-amber ale. Salty roasted malt with light cheesiness. Bitter duration and a mildly creamy palate. Flavor in this bottle lingered on. The best bottled beer I’ve had in Turkey and outstanding in comparison to the available pale lager competition. Good job Taps!

Clear orange, amber colour with a small off white head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with notes of fruit and hops. Toffee sweet flavor with fruity sweet notes. Light dry finish with hoppy notes.

A sad beer, but it’s not easy to find good beer in turkey. It’s red and the flavor is a bit malty.

Draught at the brewpub in Atiye Sokak, Istanbul
Amber color. Dry Ale, even weak, with some caramel. Too simple.
