Bottle in one of the North Shields Pubs in Istanbul. This was served just a little too cold for my liking, so much so that I could barely note the aroma of this red beer. Slightly nutty in taste, malts come through, decent though not exceptional beer.

Available in 6x330ml bottles in Migros supermarket Kayseri, less than 2YTL per bottle. Sampled at home in Urgup. Reddish colour, good head & aroma, malty not hoppy, nice mouthfeel with dry finish, not overly sweet.

Sampled draught at Taps Istanbul, Istanbul, Turkey. -the brewpub looks very nice, there are lots of different kinds of dishes, excellant beers but the only objection goes to the price because 500ml beer costs 4.5euro, the best Taps beer, pale cooper coloured, little head, roasty with light flowery nose, little bit too sweet

Sampled draught at Taps Istanbul, Istanbul, Turkey.
Pale orange. Lightly flowery nose. Light bodied and rather sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Roasty. Low bitterness. An understated but well balanced American style red ale.
