2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 GeneralGao (3508) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle from marchcow. Thanks. Poured a clear amber color. The head was tall and light tan with good retention and lacing. Smelled of steeping pale malt/cereal grain. Medium bodied and slightly sweet. As in the nose, malt dominated the flavor profile. Corn syrup, molasses, hay, and light cereal grains.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Koelschtrinker (6544) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 6, 2011
Süßlich-malziger Geruch, bananig. So kennt man türkische Biere eher weniger.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 YodaB (10) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 26, 2008
Bottle from Migros Supermarket in Bursa: No suitable glass available so drank straight from the bottle. Virtually no fruitiness or much taste at all. The only thing that made me think that this was anything other than a standard light beer (which is the norm in Turkey) was the taste of the Belgian yeast strain. Very dissappointing. This is not a good representation of a Belgian Strong Ale. Granted, the bottle could have been sitting in the cooler for god-only-knows how long.
