COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An unfiltered version of our German Pilsener. Light in body and color. German Hersbrucker and Tettnang hops lend a pleasant hop nose and classically dry, crisp finish

Pint thanks to dirtymartini for the recommendation. Pours with a large white head and a mostly clear golden body. Aroma of florals, grass notes and a lot of hops. Taste is hoppy, crisp, and bready. It is very bitter and exactly what I want from an American Pils. Lively bubbles with a dry mouthfeel.

A: The pour is a clear, pale golden color with a fluffy white head which sticks nicely to the glass. S: The nose has a bit of grassy and spicy hops along with sweet malt and grain. The usual lager yeast aroma is ruining the nose for me. T: The flavor is a touch better than the nose. The hops are a little less on the grassy side and more toward the spicy variety. Again, the grain comes through a bit, which knocks down the score as well. M: The body is much better than what you’d expect for a lager. Though it was a bit on the light side, the carbonation left a fuller feel in the mouth and a crispness to the beer. D: This beer was just a little to grassy and a touch skunky for me to enjoy. I enjoy a good lager once in awhile, but this one could use some improvement.

On tap at Corona location: Pours a transparent bright golden with an airy froth of white head. Aroma of grassy noble hops and some soft pale malts. Starts with average fullness and some mild grainy sweetness with a good amount of Saaz hop flavor and bitterness before a crisp, refreshing bittersweet finish. Pretty true to style and very drinkable.

From a growler picked up at the Brea location. Color was a bit cloudy gold color with a foamy head. Aroma was earthy, with some sweet malt and grass. A bit yeasty/grainy to. Flavor was pretty sweet, yeasty and earthy. A nice amount of grassy hops in the finish. Above average for the style for me.
