A: The pour is a dark brown with some red highlights when looked at in the right night. The head is thin and tan in color.
S: The nose is mostly of roasted malts with a bit of dark chocolate. A decent enough caramel, malt sweetness to it as well. Maybe some toffee, too.
T: Lots of roasted malt flavor which is pretty much the controlling factor in the flavor of the beer. Decent caramel and toffee sweetness, chocolate, and a bitter roasted/burnt malt character. Sort of a high carbonation which gives off a definite CO2 acidity/flavor.
M: The body is medium with a pretty high carbonation for a porter.
D: Pretty decent beer. Easy to drink and a moderate ABV, like most of their beers, so you could probably knock back a couple glasses.

They had this both on draft & on cask when I was there. I'll rate the cask version.
Nice medium bodied, creamy, roasty porter. Deep brown in color with a long lasting head. Extremely drinkable.
