Radek Kliber (3309), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 21, 2006 Taps on tap. Clear golden, ray of amber, small fine white top. Aroma was in line with Cream Ale but less of that unfortunate sugar candy, slightly bitterer as well. Medium bodied. This is very sweet lager, under fermented sugars? Slightly earthy finish that was not enough to balance this act. CapFlu (3292), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jul 26, 2006 (Bottle) This came courtesy of Lubiere. Pours a frothy, white cloud atop a clear, mildly carbonated deep golden body. Nose is hoppy and even traces of cinnamon bubblegum. Flavour is light, lemony and tart hopped. Fairly decent. Lubiere (3250), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 7, 2006 Dark golden lager with a nice thin white hed. Fresh grains of barley with light german hops. Nice fresh malty taste with a light citrusy hops, very nice and quaffable, especially next to a pool. A good summer beer. LCBO, 6 pack, 11.95$. HogTownHarry (3200), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Oct 1, 2005 Draught. At October 2005 Winking Judge BeerFest, Hamilton. Poured oily deep clear amber-gold with a minimal white head. Aroma of clean fresh hops, mild malt, some honeyish grain and a touch of citrus zest. Flavour of mild citrusy hops, fresh mild malt, a bit of pine resin and floral character - nice, if thin and a little too sweet. Average, slightly lively palate, not offensive in any way. Overall mild, drinkable, a touch sweet, but a pretty solid pale lager without the usual nastiness of the type. jerc (3114), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 9, 2005 Draft. Golden amber with a thin white head. Sweet aroma of malty caramel. Flavour is quite sweet and toffee like with a decent bit of hoppy bitterness in the finish bringing a fleeting glimpse of citrus (grapefruit) to the back of the tongue. Average palate. Kind of an odd beer to be honest but not unpleasant. I will likely give it another go round sometime.
