dark yellow, wispy off white head, sweet cinamon aroma, light cinamon flavor on a good malt base that has lots of pumpkin character, light spiced bitter finish, nice that the spices balance rather than take over

A: The beer pours a slightly hazed amber color with q dense off-white head. S: A very strong spice note. Lots of cinnamon and nutmeg with a little bit of spiced apple cider. Some toasted malt and bread with a light grass note. A touch of savory spices and fruits, interestingly enough. T: Fairly sweet with lots of bread and apple cider notes. Quite spicy, definitely a lot of cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, and some clove. A little bit of bread and caramel. Not a bad pumpkin ale. M: Medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation. O: The apple note was a bit distracting, but otherwise itís pretty decent.

Tap at Haven Pasadena. Pours a clear golden with good, white foam. Nose is puppy breath, iodine, seaweed. Taste is intense nutmeg/cinnamon/clove medley. Palate is too dusty, almost like a spoonful of cinnamon.

On tap. Lasting creamy off-white with a hazy orange body. Aromas of molasses, vegital, spice, soggy grain. Light vanilla, cinnamon, orange peel, nutmeg, allspice. Taste is grain, graham cracker, vanilla, and spice. Lively bubbles and a dry mouthfeel.

Yes, pumpkin pie in a glass! Clear amber color with ivory sheen. Nice all spice, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, pumpkin aromas. Medium body. Good mix of all spice, fall spice flavors with a caramel, pumpkin sweet base brew--very tasty

Poured a lgiht hazzy copper color. The aroma was spicey with notes of cinnamon and ginger that covers up the malt. It isnít overpowering though. A little minty. The flavor was malty with a quick hit of cinnamon and spice. The finish was short other than light spice giving some length.

Growler received in a trade with dirty_martini. Thanks Larry! Pours a cloudy copper with a thin yellow/white head that disappeared fairly quickly. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin, malt and allspice. The flavor is equally pleasant with malt, pumpkin, and allspice. Nice smooth finish and very easy to drink. Good stuff!

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2007 Was pleasantly surprised with this beer. Very good compared to the other pumpkin beers I had. Aroma was of pumpkin and cinnamom/spices. Palate was good, as was the flavor. Flavors much of the same as the aroma. (Rerated on Thanksgiving; agree with my original rating)
