I tried this beer on May 9, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet. The beer poured a beautiful translucent rusty red colour with some effervescence leading to a short-lived whitish head. The aroma was sweet malt, some fruit tones (I’m thinking plums), and a little hoppiness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, amply carbonated, and a little sour on the tongue. The flavour is no where near as fruity as the aroma. There is some sweet maltiness, some sourness in the middle, and slightly bitter finish. This beer suited my tastes quite well.

Jul 7, 2008 draft- not as bad as I thought it would be. Creamyness not there. Nice estery profile, with a robust bitterness. Cream ale- certainly not, but a decent drinker at a place with little options.

Jun 1, 2008 Orange/bronze in colour, very small white coloured head, very patchy light lacing. The aroma is very appley, quite sweet, some sourness. The flavour is fruity, lightly floral, some grains, high sweetness. Sweet mouthfeel, light body, medium/light carbonation. Fiishes sweet, lingering, late dryness.
Words can’t describe how boring this beer is.

Nov 26, 2007 Canette de 473 ml achetée chez LCBO (Ottawa, ONT). Arôme: Odeur de caramel au beurre avec une pointe de pomme. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée légèrement voilée avec une moyenne densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel au beurre et de pomme. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement crémeuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche.
