Rating from almost a year ago. On tap; poured a dark brown with not much head. Aroma of roasted malt and fruit, with a dash of cocoa. Flavor was solid; slightly sweet, caramel, roasted malt and fruit. Solid.

Pours a deep burnt burnt sienna, slightly off white halo of suds. Nose that schwartzy smell...some roast, lager yeast, bubblegum, and sweetness. Roasty, lagery flavors..clean enough schwartzy, thick enough body...yeah, for the style, no complaints.

very dark brown. Light scent of dark malt. Burnt sugar dark malt and a bit of raw root in the flavor.

Tap. Pours black with an average, fizzy light beige head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (toast, nutty, caramel), light hops (woody), and average esters (fruity) and notes of dates and chocolate. Flavor is heavy roasted malt and chocolate with light bitterness and fruitiness. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation and a dry finish.

Nice brown cola color. Easy to drink. Medium smokey coffee notes. Light carbonation. Glass is empty pretty quick.
